The earlier time it showed the greed of Sackler family, and in the latter time line, it showed the hardwork of us attorney wanting to prosecute those evil people, and DEA officer, Rosa, was fighting for getting FDA involved and hence shutting down the drug abuse. But in between, I saw people in the community suffering from this drug, whether it was the doc or the patient, all getting addicted eventually. I love Kaitlyn in the show, Betsy was helpless, she suffered from her back injury and she had secret then she got addicted and later she had nothing, so sympathetic. And kaitlyn showed how vulnerable she was and some breakdowns were really real to me. Will’s salesman was awesome, he had his consciousness, he was crucial in the final part. Really admired his courage for not signing the NDA and sending the tapes. Michael’s Sam was, hard to say, he gave prescriptions to Betsy but he himself was also a victim. So can’t blame him. Rosa was really great, I remember her role in Nf’s Daredevil series, she was really cool. Her role in DEA was a amazing, she didn’t act like her pussy subordinate, she really gave that Sackler a hell of time in that meeting. BTW, I don’t like Rosa’s husband, he was really a piece of shit while standing in the moral high ground blaming her for not doing enough for their marriage, when he was talking about the relationship, he didn’t gave support at all. The us attorney duo were important, they gave a first shot, a small win was a win, after all . As for the drug OxyContin, it’s still selling and making money for the family, how sad. None of the family members got put behind bars , imo they won, billions of fine was nothing to them since they made billions decade ago, the fine won’t hurt enough.
